Summer greetings

Time is running fast, and we already find ourselves in June. The best time of the year is right here and now, with flowering summer and light midsummer nights. In our town Jakobstad the nights will be all light for a month from now, peaking on 22nd June when the sun is shining 20hrs and 46minutes of the day.

To be blessed with four seasons is something we are truly thankful for. It keeps us going through ups and downs and always lets us enjoy or long for something new and different.

Projects at the company

We have many projects in progress besides the daily work at Mekrapid. Our facilities are partly a construction site, because of the building of our new office. The old office was torn down in April and a brand-new building with office and facility for our co-workers and guests will be ready at the end of this year. Again, I would like to thank my colleagues for the patience you show our temporary, narrow, and inaccessible spaces while waiting for our new Mekrapid together!

Certificating our environmental work

On top of this, Mekrapid strives for an ISO14001-certification at the beginning of 2024. The work we do now towards certification of our environmental work routines shows that we have been doing many things right for a while already.

We always try to do things better, to be flexible for changes, and to be open-minded to new technology. In this way, we can do much more for our customers and our nature at the same time. Saving nature is saving for us all in so many ways.
