As we approach the end of 2024, we find ourselves in the midst of Kaamos here in Finland, where the long polar nights offer moments of stillness and reflection. Despite the darkness, this season encourages us to find warmth, gratitude, and light in the connections we hold dear.

At Mekrapid, we proudly celebrated our 50th anniversary, along with many other milestones and achievements that have shaped our company’s history. At the same time, we have been deeply affected by the violence and uncertainty in many regions nearby, which has impacted our everyday lives in various ways.

According to the World Happiness Report, Finland has been ranked the world’s happiest country for the seventh consecutive year. We believe this ranking reflects the hard work of our people in achieving their goals and their ability to express gratitude for those accomplishments.

Looking ahead to 2025, our commitment to crafting durable chair swivels and fostering meaningful partnerships remains steadfast. Our journey toward greater sustainability continues to inspire us, and we are excited to share this path with you.
